Logging in to BMS for the first time
1. When signing in to BMS for the first time, you will first need to locate your Welcome
Email, pictured below:
A. Verify you have the correct email by checking the sender in detail. This welcome email will be from the user Kaseya BMS with the email address of help@www.leaftechit.com.
B. The body of this email contains
#1 – a link to the BMS Portal
#2 – the username and password information for your BMS Account
2. Use the link labeled #1 in the previous image to navigate to the BMS Portal, and enter your username and password when prompted.
3. You will know you have successfully logged in when you land in the Client Portal Dashboard on the My Profile section.
Enable MFA in BMS Client Portal
1. Before enabling MFA in BMS you will need to have an authenticator app installed!
We recommend the Google Authenticator app:
Download Link Here for Android
Download Link Here for iOS
Download the Google Authenticator app from the Google Play App Store, or the Apple App Store if you do not already have it.
2. In your Google Authenticator app, follow the walkthrough to add your first account, or locate the + button at the bottom right of the app if you already have accounts set up to add additional accounts.
3. When prompted, you will need to provide the QR code or the manual configuration key, (if the camera on your phone doesn’t work for some reason!)
You will find the QR code and manual configuration key on your BMS My Profile page.
Click on the Enable MFA button on the Personal Information tab to bring up the pop up with this information, shown below:
4. Either Scan the QR code labeled #1 in the picture above into your Google Authenticator app, or click the link labeled #2 to display the manual configuration code and manually key in the code to add your BMS Client Portal Account to the authenticator app. You will know the account is successfully added when the add an account screen disappears, and the new authentication code populates the app. It will be labeled Kaseya-leaftech consulting llc.
5. Next you will Verify the MFA account, by entering the authentication code from the Google Authentication app into the Verify MFA Code section of that same pop-up in your BMS Client Portal, shown below:
After entering this information successfully, the pop up will disappear.
Please refresh your browser page and confirm the MFA warning shown below is no longer at the top of your screen after the refresh.
You will also see this message in the area where the blue Enable MFA button used to be:
You have now successfully set up MFA for the BMS Client Portal!
You will need to access the Google Authenticator app and provide your authentication code as
well as your password to log in to BMS going forward.
