Beck Media – How-To: Uninstall Norton/Symantec Endpoint Protection for Mac

1. On the Mac client computer, open the Norton or “Symantec Endpoint Protection” client, and then click Symantec Endpoint Protection > Uninstall Symantec Endpoint Protection.
   
   
   
2. Click Uninstall again to begin the uninstallation.
   
   
3. When you are prompted, authenticate with your Mac’s administrative username and password. 
   
4. Once the uninstallation completes, click Restart Now.
   
   
5. You have uninstalled SEP/Norton Antivirus!
